Pack for the desert and the mountains in the same week. That is the trick.

Riding gear

• Vented adventure jacket with thermal + waterproof liners
• Two layers of long-sleeve merino
• Mid-weight gloves + summer gloves
• Touring boots (water-resistant)
• Polarised sunglasses + clear inserts
• Buff or shemagh — non-negotiable in the dust

Off-bike

• Two pairs of light long trousers (Berber custom)
• T-shirts (synthetic, dry overnight)
• Sandals
• Light fleece — the Atlas is cold at altitude even in July

Tools

We supply a full toolkit on every rental — including tire plugs, pump, and a spare clutch lever. You don't need to bring a thing. Just a multi-tool and a head-torch.
