03Why Morocco

The most varied
340 days of riding
in the northern hemisphere.

We have ridden every continent except Antarctica. Year after year, we come home to Morocco. Here is why we think you will, too.

Atlas Mountains and motorcycle in foreground
01

Four landscapes, three hours apart.

Coast, plain, mountain, desert — fewer countries pack this much geological drama into such ride-able distances.

02

Roads engineered for cornering.

The rebuilt N9 and N10 are among the best paved alpine roads in the world. The piste network is unmatched in Africa.

03

Year-round riding seasons.

Desert from October. Mountains from March. Coast all year. No moto-country in Europe offers this calendar.

04

A culture that welcomes riders.

Berber hospitality is real. Mint tea is real. The friendliness of small-mountain villages is not on any influencer's reel — you have to ride to find it.

What riders write
when they get home.

We had ridden Patagonia and the Karakoram. Morocco — with Atlas as guides — was the trip that finally made our partners stop calling us crazy.

Logistics flawless. Bike perfect. The desert camp on night four was the best meal of my year. I am already plotting next October.
Henrik J.Oslo, NorwayTénéré 700
First time touring outside Europe. The team made it feel safe without making it feel sanitised. The Atlas back-roads were a revelation.

Forty years of riding, three previous trips to Morocco. This is the operation I will use from now on. The detail is on another level.

06For the long-read

Motorcycle adventure
in Morocco, in plain English.

Morocco is the most rewarding adventure-motorcycle destination within four hours' flight of Europe — and arguably one of the three best in the world. The Atlas Mountains run for 2,500 kilometres across the country in three parallel ranges, the Sahara begins where they end, and the Atlantic coast carries cool wet air the whole length of the west. You can be cornering at altitude in the morning and standing in dunes by sunset. Very few countries can say that.

For European riders the appeal is amplified by logistics: a three-hour flight from Paris or London, no visa for most passports, English and French widely spoken alongside Arabic and Berber, and a network of paved adventure routes that have been rebuilt and resurfaced over the last decade with EU and Moroccan investment. The infamous Tizi-n-Tichka has been redesigned with new viaducts; the N10 down the Drâa valley is now signed-tarmac to the Algerian border.

Bike choice matters. Most first-time visitors over-bike themselves on a heavy 1250cc flagship when a lighter Ténéré 700 or Honda Africa Twin would be more enjoyable on the piste — and easier to recover from a sand-fall. We talk you through this honestly on every enquiry. Our fleet page includes daily rates and full specs.

Seasonality matters too. The classic Saharan crossing — Marrakech to Merzouga — runs October through April. Outside that window, daytime desert temperatures make tarmac unsafe. The mountain loops, by contrast, are at their best from March to November. We can build you a custom routing for any month of the year, but the calendar shapes the choice.

If you have a riding partner who is not licensed, that is fine — most of our trips can be run with a 4×4 support vehicle. If you are travelling with non-riding family, Marrakech and Essaouira are both spectacular standalone destinations. Tell us about your group on the booking enquiry and we will design around it.

throw a leg over.

The short answers. Want the long one? Message us on WhatsApp — we usually reply within an hour.

Your home country motorcycle licence is sufficient for stays under 90 days. An International Driving Permit is recommended but rarely checked at police stops.

Today we are a curated platform — we partner with the best agencies in Marrakech and pair each rider with the right bike, route, and partner. Our own fleet launches in 2027.

We work with riders from first-time tourers to former Dakar competitors. Tell us your experience honestly when you enquire and we will match you with the right route and bike.

October to April for the desert and south. March to November for the High Atlas. We ride year-round — peak desert season is November through March.

Motorcycle rental, fuel for guide bike, accommodation (3–5 star riads and luxury camps), all breakfasts and most dinners, mechanical support vehicle on group tours, and a fully insured guide.

Yes — most of our work is bespoke. Send us your dates, riding level, and one or two routes that have caught your eye, and we will design something around them.
